Where it all started for Intelact
Our journey to drive sustainable food production
The Intelact Group of Companies was founded over 25 years ago with the Intelact brand as its first offering. The company has proudly provided dairy farm systems consultancy advice to farmers and agribusiness clients ever since.
When Intelact was first established in 1996, the company's consultancy advice was limited to New Zealand farmers. Soon it expanded to include Australia and South Africa.
Today, Intelact's consultants assist their clients in the agriculture industry to develop innovative and resilient business practices that are both profitable and environmentally sustainable.
Intelact establishes Headlands
With an increasing focus on on-farm environmental management practices by central government and the wider community, our Intelact consultancy group changed to Headlands in the 2000s to reflect our growing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our clients. All our consultants complete a Headlands Accreditation Plan, which ensures they provide the latest and most appropriate advice to our dairy farming clients to meet environmentally sound practice principles, whilst providing farm systems consultancy advice that optimises business performance.
Nutrinza is launched
Increasing demand by Intelact's clients for high and consistent quality stock feed saw Nutrinza Ltd formed in 2001. Its purpose was to provide a specialist service of customised feed solutions for New Zealand farmers, and has grown over time to deliver New Zealand’s largest range of speciality products.
Intelact International - still going strong
In 2005 Intelact International was formed, initially under the Satis World brand, and now as Intelact International to provide effective solutions for large scale sustainable agriculture. Intelact International provides leading edge expertise in profitable and sustainable intensive dairy, beef feedlot, pasture-based animal production, and arable farming enterprises across arid, tropical and temperate environments.
The Intelact Group of Companies utilises its vast range of expertise across the livestock and cropping farming industries to assist our clients to optimise their meat, milk or grain production, and maximise profitability by providing sound advice and quality feeds.
